Specs noted as to operation appears to be in line. All components noted in ad the Amazon site were shipped with this radio description of radio on-site also accurate. Have use the RT Systems CD and programming cable to program the TH-7800 and found it quite simple.
Manual programming is similar to that of a Yaesu 8800. Enjoying for single band use and for cross band repeat of 440 MHz to 144 MHz frequencies, with operational set up for activation on crossband repeat being quite simple.

Looking for answers, so please share if you know something that might help. I m heading back to the shop tonight to recheck the antenna and SWR. I feel like I unknowingly enabled/disable something in the menu, but i cant figure it out. I can receive and transmit on 70 cm, and receive on 2 meter, I just cant transmit on 2 m. BUT, I m unable to transmit on the 2 meter band. Everything has been smooth and seems to be a good radio. I installed this with the help of a friend who owns a commercial radio business. Thought it was a bad mic so got a replacement. Transmit power OK but transmitted audio was very weak. Worked for several months with light use.
